David is the founder, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of FIPPEX. A proven entrepreneur, David founded a web design company in 1997 and successfully grew the business prior to selling it to a Chicago-based web development firm in 1999. David has devoted his career to creating and managing solutions for companies who want to streamline and simplify their enterprise application portfolios with experience at IBM and Accenture.
David earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana, and his Master of Science in Information Technology from Northwestern University.
Mark is a co-founder and partner of Diamond Oak Capital Advisors. He is the former Chief Technology Officer of NYSE Regulation. Mark began his career in the commercial software industry, where as a principal in a leading statistical software firm he co-created early versions of exploratory data analysis and business intelligence tools. He then joined the Chicago Stock Exchange and worked on the design and development of some of the first distributed architecture exchange trading systems. He later joined Archipelago, where as a Managing Director he concentrated on trading and market surveillance systems and brokered a pivotal replacement of Archipelago’s trading technology. He was appointed Chief Technology Officer of NYSE Regulation when the New York Stock Exchange acquired Archipelago.
Mark earned his BA from the University of Chicago.
As the Co-Founder and President of FIPPEX, Bill is responsible for new business development, sales strategy and client relationship management. In 2007, Bill founded Missing Link Sales Solutions, a sales and marketing firm for which he currently serves as a consultant. Prior to the success of Missing Link Sales Solutions, Bill was the top sales associate for a major branding/promotional agency, where he took the lead on major product launches for numerous Fortune 500 consumer product companies.
Bill earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from The University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana.
Jacques is Managing Partner of Nexus Partners. Nexus is the general partner for a portfolio of companies with over 7,200 employees and assets in excess of $600MM. Prior to Nexus, he was the founding member of Banc of America Equity Partners – Latin America, having joined Bank of America in connection with the Continental Bank merger in 1994. He joined the former Continental Bank in 1980 and served in a variety of positions in international, corporate and investment banking. He was among the group responsible for launching Continental's operations in Chile in the early 1980s and, later, the bank's Corporate Finance Department in Chicago, which specialized in highly leveraged transactions, buyouts and restructurings.
Jacques is President of Difusión Panorámica S.A. de C.V. He is also a director of Maxcom Telecomunicaciones S.A. de C.V., Organización Rescarven C.A., Crown Linen LLC and, Geoplan Brasil Development Ltd.
Jacques received a Master of Management from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, and a BA in Economics and Political Sciences from the University Rochester.
Kevin is a co-founder and partner of Diamond Oak Capital Advisors. He is on the Board of Directors of Investment Technology Group, Inc. (NYSE-listed: ITG) and the Board of Advisers of Quadriserv, Inc. He previously served as the Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Strategy Officer of CBOT (Chicago Board of Trade) Holdings, Inc. and as Chief Administrative Officer, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Archipelago Holdings, Inc. He has extensive international experience in building financial markets in developing markets and worked as a prosecutor in the Division of Enforcement of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (Washington, D.C.) and at the Department of Justice, (Washington, D.C.).
Mr. O'Hara is also Chairman of the Kevin J. P. O'Hara Family Foundation and sits on several boards of trustees.
Kevin earned a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, and a B.A. (History) from the University of Chicago. He also successfully completed the International Finance & Global Markets Executive Program at Georgetown University McDonough School of Business.
As the Executive Vice President of Marketing and Communications, Margaret is responsible for public relations, marketing communications and brand strategy. With over 20 years of financial services experience, Margaret has developed marketing programs and brand positioning for both startup and more mature firms. Prior to joining FIPPEX, Margaret was a SVP of Global Marketing at NYSE Euronext, Managing Director of Archipelago Holdings and a Director at Optimark Technologies.
Margaret has a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance with a focus on Marketing from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois.
Aly is the Director of System Architecture for FIPPEX. He is responsible for the core development of the FIPPEX platform and the creation of uniquely customizable features and widgets deployed on client sites. He has extensive experience as a Senior Software Engineer at Switchfast Technologies and has architected and managed numerous technology solutions for various clients.
Aly has a Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering from DePaul University and a Masters Degree in Business Information Technology from Northwestern University.
Matt is the Director of Deployment and Delivery for FIPPEX. He is responsible for engineering, integrating and optimizing client data prior to the deployment of the FIPPEX platform and managing client system upgrades and enhancements. Prior to joining FIPPEX, Matt was a Senior Software Developer at STATS, LLC and an instructor in the Computer Science Department at Loyola University where he shared his expertise in various programming languages, frameworks, and database management systems.
Matt has a Bachelor’s Degree in Math, Computer Science and Spanish from Lawrence University and a Master’s Degree in Software Technology from Loyola University.
